Congrats to the new mayor and his able team of councillors.
Realy like to know how major and large scale development projects are approved. For eg. the project in fair park where a proposed eleven storey service apartment, hotel and shopping complex is being planned. Is there a clause that states the council must get an approval or at least a consensus from the residents in fair park. We are not against development but not at the expense of the residents who have purchased their homes just for the location. Fair Park is an old residential area where most of the residents are retired or at the retiring age. So dear Mayor please do a consensus before your department approves this project.
